HL-BAG-01
Bag Services
Structure, colour and edges, brought back.
A bag arrives carrying its own history — a slumped shape, a bloomed corner, a lining that finally gave way. We take it apart as far as the piece needs, bring the colour back to its original match, reseal the edges, renew the lining and the hardware, and put the shape back where it belongs.
THE OPERATIONS
Every operation this family can take, and what each one actually involves.
08CleaningYears of city, salt and handling lifted out of the grain by hand, with materials matched to the hide.
Colour restorationPigment matched to the original and rebuilt in thin passes, then sealed so it wears like the first coat.
Colour changeA different colour entirely, taken back to an even base first so nothing of the old shade shows through.
Edge coatingThe painted edges rebuilt and resealed — the first thing to crack on a bag, and the first thing noticed.
ReshapingA slumped body brought back to its intended line and held there while it sets.
Lining replacementA torn or stained interior replaced in a matching weight, stitched to the original pattern.
StitchingBroken seams re-sewn along the original holes, in thread matched for colour and thickness.
Hardware platingClasps, feet and chain re-plated back to their original finish rather than swapped for replicas.
